Minimal data collection
Privacy policy
What the static site does and does not collect.
Effective . Contact: [email protected]
No analytics or profile building
The generated site does not include analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural profiling, user accounts or an internal person-search system. It does not intentionally store cookies. External source links lead to independent organisations whose services and privacy terms apply once you leave this domain.
Contact information
If you email a correction, your mail provider and ours process the message for delivery. The correspondence is used to assess and respond to the correction. Do not send sensitive personal data, identity documents or information about living people. A factual editorial change may be logged with its public source, but private correspondence is not published.
Static contact form
The contact form does not submit its fields to this website. It prepares a local mailto: draft in the visitor's email application, where the recipient and content can be reviewed before the visitor chooses whether to send it. The site therefore has no form-submission database; delivery and retention begin only if the visitor sends the message through their email provider.
This notice is reviewed when hosting or communication arrangements change. The current version is dated 29 July 2026.
Server and access logs
The static publication does not add its own visitor database. The hosting provider and content-delivery network may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP address, time, requested path, user agent and security events, to deliver and protect the site. Their retention and lawful basis are controlled by the relevant service configuration and provider terms.
No genealogy research query is sent to this site because it has no surname or person-search feature. External catalogue links are normal links without affiliate or campaign parameters. Once followed, the destination organisation becomes responsible for its own account, cookie, subscription and analytics practices.
Routine security backups may contain the same static files and server configuration as the live site. They are not designed as research databases and do not add names, enquiries or visitor profiles to the published dataset.
