Current accessibility support

The site uses semantic headings, labelled navigation, keyboard-visible focus, a skip link and tables with captions and row or column headers. Text and controls are designed for zoom, while directories reflow from columns to a single reading order. Illustrations are supplementary; their alt text describes the abstract composition without carrying facts that are absent from the page.

Motion is minimal and disabled when a reduced-motion preference is present. Form controls retain visible labels. Colour is not the only indicator of verification status, and the palette has been selected for readable contrast on the warm paper background.

Known limitations and feedback

Large data tables may require horizontal scrolling on narrow screens; their containers can receive keyboard focus. External archive and platform pages have their own accessibility policies and may not follow the same design. If a heading, link label, table or focus sequence prevents access, email [email protected] with the page URL and the assistive technology or browser involved.

Accessibility is reviewed alongside content validation. Corrections are prioritised when they block a task such as reaching a source link, understanding a coverage status or submitting an editorial correction.
