Cashio Around the time of the Doomsday Book Commission (December 1085) Cashio was known as Albanestou. During 12 Centry the hundred was renamed 'St Albans'. The 13th Centry to the 16th saw yet another change in the names Kayso, Kayso, Kayford & Cayford. Only after the 16th Centery was 'Cashio' used. In the hundred of Cashio are the parishes;
