Cheshunt college was in 1768 by Countess of Huntingdon and Talgarth in Brecon. It wasn't until 1792 the college was transfered to cheshunt. Around 1840 Cheshunt college was affiliated to the University of London and became a college of divinity in the newly constituted university in 1901 and was then transfered to Cambridge in 1906.
